Get ready for the 2nd annual Lobster Bite Challenge! The Ogunquit Lobster Bite Challenge brings together ten top local chefs to compete head-to-head for the title of Best Lobster Bite in town. You get to sample a variety of creative and mouthwatering lobster dishes, then cast your vote for the Guest Favorite while a panel of expert judges selects their top pick. The winning chef of the judges’ vote will earn a coveted spot in Portland’s Harvest on the Harbor competition.

The Red Ribbon Party and the Southern Maine AIDS Walk and 5K Run is the largest annual fundraiser for the Frannie Peabody Center. The Center empowers and supports people living with or affected by HIV/AIDS in Maine through integrative care, education, advocacy, and prevention services. The Red Ribbon Party is at the Front Porch, the walk and 5k run begins on Ogunquit Beach, and there is a post event Tea Dance and awards ceremony at Mainestreet.

This event celebrates Ogunquit’s unique history and today’s culture, with a focus on the contributions of the visual and performing art communities. The main event is Saturday's oceanside music & food festival, featuring free live music, family entertainment, and food. Other activities throughout the weekend include an artisan craft fair, sand art, an "art walk" with painting demonstrations, and events hosted by member businesses.

Ogunquit is renowned for an impressive fireworks display, shot from the Main Beach Parking Lot. View the fireworks from downtown, along the Marginal Way, or anywhere on Ogunquit Beach. Music and dancing occur before the fireworks. Rain date is July 5.
